Educational Activities, Homework Support, Recreation for K-12 Learners

Every Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Knowledge Seekers offers academic enrichment activities for children and youth in grades kindergarten through 12th grade.
We offer fun activities that apply best practices in education to help kids meet Virginia state standards and enjoy learning skills and confidence that will help them pursue their interests and achieve their goals.
Knowledge Seekers started when schools opened just after the COVID-19 public health emergency. We offered academic enrichment activities designed to encourage children and youth to enjoy learning, feel confident in the classroom, and practice basic skills at their own pace. Attendance increased as kids invited their friends to join. Our activities became more challenging as kids requested more advanced math activities, more in-depth discussions about history and science, and advice for preparing for high school graduation and college.
